Thanks Shirin Ebadi, I'll
by skatermom (not verified) on Wed Jun 11, 2008 08:45 PM PDTThanks Shirin Ebadi, I'll surely take your parental advice in to consideration when my child is an adolescent. After a recent return trip from Tokyo I must say that those 22 year old Japanese kids dressed up like cartoon characters and vomiting in the streets seemed pretty fu*&ing adorable. I asked them what the hell was wrong with the teens and twenty something year olds here in good old Nipon. They replied that A) Asians are allergic to alcohol and that their systems can't handle it and that B) they grew up in such repressive households that the only way to rebel was to look like slutty Picachuus. So moosh bekhoreh those Japanese kids that are chain smoking at 14 and that gerbil, I mean poodle of yours. I'll take my back talking, spoiled, skateboarding, slayer listening Iranian kid any day of the week.
Lovely little

Adorable!
Awww
by American Wife (not verified) on Wed Jun 11, 2008 02:22 PM PDTBut I've got to put my 2 cents in too... I personally think my little angel was the cutest baby in the world. Did I really say "angel"... ok, that was 22 years ago. I have steadily progressed from "angel" to "little devil" to "spawn of satan" to "what! he's not MY child"...and now I'm starting to see him evolve into a human being again. We actually carry on conversations now involving more than a few grunts and groans. And listen to this! The other day I got a receipe from him...be still my heart! Can it be? Might he becoming self sufficient? I think he does his own laundry too. I might be ready to start advertising for a wife....lol.
Epitome of Cuteness

by Shirin Be-Ebadi and her little poodle walking down the alley (not verified) on Wed Jun 11, 2008 08:54 AM PDTI disagree with your sentiment about Persian kids. I think the cutest kids are Japanese! moosh moosh they are adorable and so cute and cuddly. Iranian kids as well as Indian and arab kids have all these brat attitude. From childhood they know they are spoiled and they should make life miserable to all adults. In return the parents of Iranian kids constantly say: "I never hit my child, I let him do whatever he wants, so that they don't end up to be like me"!!! Bologny!, They only reason you are like that is because you asss has not been kicked long enough during the adolescense years. Should you have been punished properly you would know that discipline is the essential quality of life which lacks among Iranian kids and all the way to their adults.....
Japanese kids are so cute....
Call me bias, however I find
by skatermom (not verified) on Wed Jun 11, 2008 07:41 AM PDTCall me bias, however I find that Iranian babies are hands down the cutest babies in the world. Aside from myself being a former Iranian baby and my son being a half Iranian baby they are too darned cute. She's adorable. As for the child neglect comment, I'll be hard pressed to find an Iranian parent who's neglectful if anything they're often over too smothering...as they should be.
She said:"khoda margam"
by Anonymous77 (not verified) on Wed Jun 11, 2008 01:32 AM PDTWhy do people say things like that?
Rather morbid, isn't it.
Someone ought to do a study about the morbidity in Persian everyday language.
"ghorboonet beram" i.e. I'm about to hit my solar plexus with the dagger in my hand.
Odd.
child neglect
by مازیار (not verified) on Tue Jun 10, 2008 11:32 PM PDTInteresting! I was just taking an online course on "child neglect" right before watching this video! This video may fall into one of the categories of child neglect! They should not do that with a toddler!
not safe
by Miz Abdol Azim Khaneh Shahvat Panah (not verified) on Tue Jun 10, 2008 08:57 PM PDTThere are variety of reasons why parents should not encourage closet climbing. First of all the shelves are unstable and in many cases can fall. Second, there are possibility of lead in paints as well as Xylin, another carcenogenic chemical and also the formaldahides that they use in wookd industry. Another potential dander is if a child does the same thing with the refrigerator or the freezer and locks herself insdie.
Instead of this they should have saved that time and taught their kids a few words in Persian or played some classical music for the little girl....
WHAT RUBBISH!!!!!

The cutest shot is her nappy with her tiny feet hanging out.
Might sound irrelevant, however an evidence to confirm;
the claustrophobia is an external incentive and It is not inherited genetically.
BTW, the lady had it almost triggered!
Fear of outdoor darkness was planted in me by my mum and took me 14 years to wash it out of my brain.
Is there any tribunal for this?
MOOSH-e FINGILI !
by Majid on Tue Jun 10, 2008 04:47 PM PDTVery funny clip.
That reminded me my younger son, who was so scared of egg plants when he was 1 year old, and I had egg plants in all kitchen cabinets and stairs to deter him from "Fozooli"....or danger for that matter........LOL
I was new here then, and not aware of safety latches!
