I loved watching this. This guy is so great. I also saw the clip on Pardis Sabeti. It makes me proud to be an Iranian. I agree though with the other comment. The people who did the clip on Pardis should do a clip on Tehran. It would be even more interesting. Does anyone know anything about PAAIA? I think its for Iranian Americans. Tehran should be the president. If he was everyone would join. Especially the young generation. My parents used to watch his TV show and they are in love with him. It was the first time my parents and my kids watched the same show not to mention a show on Iranian Satellite. He is very captivating and sincere. Good job to his parents that raised him.

This guy is great. I saw this clip on YOUTUBE. Its by this guy Saman that does the Abjeez videos. I tried to add Tehran on FACEBOOK but he already has 5000 friends and that was before the video. Persian clubs should bring him to their campuses to talk to students. He inspires so many people and is so proud of being both Iranian and American it makes me proud too.

Everybody LOVES Tehran

Tehran is great. Everyone knows who he is. I used to live in Maryland and then moved to New York. Even in New York everyone knew him. Now I live in Los Angeles and everyone is excited everytime he comes out. The best part is he is so down to Earth and cool. I read his blogs on Facebook and Myspace. I LOVE TEHRAN BLOGS. They are very funny but really thought provoking. Good job Tehran. Im jealous because your farsi is better than mine.

I saw him at Mehrehgan in Orange County this year. He hosted the Tea Room and was on the Main Stage too. He is so funny and witty. He did an amazing job. When he talks you just want to listen.

That PAAIA group should do a profile on him. It would be more interesting than the other ones. He is a true Iranian American. He already had Rudi Bakhtiar in his clip. Then I would join.

It shouldn't matter that he is half and a half. Who cares. He isn't special just because he speaks farsi. He seems like the coolest person and he actually makes me proud to be Iranian too. His shirt even said "PERSIAN IS THE NEW BLACK" that was awesome.

This guy is young and he is proud of his heritage, black and iranian. That is very admirable. We need more people like him.

I think this is the same guy that had a Television show on persian tv with two of his friends Mitra and Bardia and then by himself. My parents love him and his show was really good. They watched him on Monday nights. His show was very different from other persian TV show programs.

Zendehbad Tehran

This kid is great. I saw him on stage at the Arash Afshin Andy concert and he was great. He was hosting the concert. Is he a comedian or actor or something? He was hillarious. If he is not he should be. He has superstar written all over him.
I want to name my son Tehran. Best name ever. Very unique. I think he is the only one. Or if nothing else the first one.

ps. i mean you just dont expect it because he was so popular and he was an athelete and everything. he used to throw like the best parties at mason and usually people like that arent good at class. but he was phenomonal and always got perfect scores on his test. a girl i know that went to highschool with him told me he got like almost a perfect SAT score. after having class with him i believe it. even the teacher would always talk about him how smart he was even though he like never came which was why he hated him.

Seriously I know Tehran and first of all he is really really hot!!! for a black man or a iranian man...i see him in person at every event and he is just really sexy. and what makes it even better is that he is so cool. thats why i dont like the hater that pretended to meet him in a nightclub. I have seen Tehran at all the best parties and he is treated VIP and he doesnt care about it at all. He doesnt even drink alcohol EVER. And he is always so nice to everyone. And his FARSI is even better than in the video. he speaks at a lot of events. What makes him great isnt just that he is proud and can speak farsi but he is just one of those great special people all around. He is so smart (you all should read his blogs on facebook.) i know he was really smart in school because i have teachers that even bring him up. and he played on the basketball team. and everyone everywhere i go knows him even though he is so humble. seriously I LOVE TEHRAN and i know so many people that do to...but for a good reason. hes like a persian Obama and Denzel Washington.

As I said, ultimately I think it's up to the individual to decide whether they feel Iranian, etc. I myself don't understand how it feels to be Iranian-American, let alone American! So that puts me squarely in the Iranian category. An old friend of mine in Iran, half German half Iranian herself but grown up in Iran, says that where you spend your childhood is where you're from. I think that's pretty close to the truth.

The second-generation kids here are probably the real Iranian-Americans, but, who am I to say, if someone who grew up in Iran, speaks with a heavy Farsi accent, never really learned English, doesn't understand Eddie Murphy or compost and recycle, can't recall where he/she was when JFK got shot -- if someone like this still feels American-ness boiling in his/her blood, then by all means, be my guest, frame that passport and put it on the wall. Maa ke bakhil nistim...! But don't tell me there's no difference between them and kids like Mr. Tehran.

1- You're obviously lying about having met Tehran in a D.C. night club! If it wasn't for pictures on Tehran's myspace site, you wouldn't even have the background and base to fabricate this childish and baseless claim!

2- How do you know if he is happy or lost or whatever. This is such a bad trait of us Iranians. We are the judge and expert on everything and everyone! Every Iranian is a medical doctor and a psychologist.

3- While sipping your glass of West Indies rum or whatever, you need to also try to grow up and try to relax and not be so judgemental about others!

1. what do you think: how democratically are civil and criminal laws in the united states of America?
2. How do you interpret the torture legalizing law? Legalizing the controll of the private PCs(On-Line-Controlling)? Voting rules? remembering that the stil acting president of the united state got the job not because he was voted by Poelpe. It was the decision of a court.
3. Do Have these Laws and the way they are practiced any conformity with the democracy as it is understand and concidered by a reasonable and logicaly minded Person?
4. How is the social insurenace in the united states - health care, pension, supplying the masses with mean life needs -garanted?

Your clip is nice. Thank you. Not all Iranians in the diaspora can look back at a acceptable life and see their future as a promissing Life. I think it is just a very natural matter that your impression of your Iranian relatives have been so as you have presented them. Well I'm pretty relaxed, thanks for asking. I'm not the ever happy/for no reason enthusiastic kinda guy, specially on line.

Now to get back to the subject, one day I tried to talk with this dude. I approched him in a courteous manner (it was in a night club called ''Home'', in D.C). The atmosphere was pretty cool, and I asked him : ''are you iranian ?'' he gave me a bad look and just walked away. He snobbed me like he was some kind of an iranian Puff Daddy ,and I was not aware of that.

As opposed to what he tries to show in the video, this dude is lost. That's my opinion.

Now if you think that I still need to chill out, just get me a glass of French West Indies rhum called 3 Rivieres please,with lime, no ice. dasdet dard nakone.
