Irandokht it's true! Sex matters. Look at the Republicans
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Nov 23, 2008 06:58 PM PSTThey are anti everything, anti-gay, anti-kink. they are so frustrated and it totally shows. Condi was a problem because she wouldn't even sign off on basic initiatives for the State Dept. like the museum/visitor's center that was being built. I mean, it's a blatant stubbornness that I think only sex and love can unwind. I'm sorry for being so "lowest common denominator", but I believe this. I also think Hillary suffers from this problem.
During her campaign, she refused to read "negative" news. It's an insecurity that worries me. I wish someone would be her man in waiting.
Why do we see Pakestanies instead of Iranians in the introductio
by Mola Nasredeen on Sun Nov 23, 2008 06:44 PM PSTn of the piece? Are the producers or editors of CNN this dumb? But the report is a very positive take on Iranian-U.S. relations. Good job sister Amanpour. Good post sister party girl.
Change!
by Abol (Lall) Danesh, Ph.D. in Sociology (not verified) on Sun Nov 23, 2008 05:38 PM PSTRun through all the 26 letters of alpha bet and one after the other one by one and then add to the word "Obama" to see how many meaningful persian words you can come up with that could later prove handly during the dog eat dog world of diplomacy:
Bobama ( He is my dad)
Dobama (THis is my fight)
Gobama (It's my robe)
Et.c
Etc.
Etc.
Who ever comes up with more meaning words Will be the winner and will automaticly be Barack guest for one night stay in white house hotel with free dinner.
Hurray.........
Don't forget who owns the
by Anonymous 22 (not verified) on Sun Nov 23, 2008 12:24 PM PSTDon't forget who owns the foreign policy of America. The Zionists do. Obama even picked Rahm Emannuel, whose father had ties with Israel;s Mossad.
Don;t think for a minute anything has changed. You think he can end such a profitable war so quickly.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that JFK was killed less than 2 weeks after announcing he would not allow Israel to have nuclear weapons!!
LOL Marge
by IRANdokht on Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:55 AM PSTThat statement was so funny and so politically wrong... I am still laughing and as always you make a lot of sense.
IRANdokht
Let's not jump to conclusions, folks. Obama and Hillary are...
by Ostaad on Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:50 AM PSTnot political novices nor pushovers. Hillary Clinton attracted the wrath of many rabid Zionistas when she supprted the creation of the indedpendent Palestinian state way back in 1998! She was way ahead of her time in this regard, and her being elected as a senator from NY proved the right wing Israel-firster Zionistas are not holding all the cards. If you want to know how pissed off the rabid Zionists were then , and some still are now, read this:
//www.papillonsartpalace.com/hillarSy.htm
Also the following Obama interview sheds light on his approach to Israel and the ME "issues":
//jeffreygoldberg.theatlantic.com/archives/20...
We must be patient and let the poor guy sit at the president's desk in the Oval Office first. Let's not forget that Obama's election was due to the AMERICAN grassroots support and he owes NOTHING to the so-called Jewish vote. He know it and THEY know it.Let's not forget than "little" detail.
What is so wrong about a dialogue? What are you so afraid of?
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:48 AM PSTThe world might end if you make it end with your madness. There is no good reason to not have a direct dialogue and finally see if both sides and decide on a way to avoid wars and stupid policies (that goes both ways).
As a woman, I'm sad that for the second term in a row, a woman who does not have regular sex will be in a powerful position, especially one where she might be pressing the president for more brutal policies. Sex matters!
I don't want Obama to be surrounded by people who agree with him and are afraid to give him differing opinions. Better to have them close by to see what others in the country, who might not have voted for him, are thinking and wishing for.
The only relatively good
by Parnian (not verified) on Sun Nov 23, 2008 08:05 AM PSTThe only relatively good decision made by Obama is appointing Hillary for Secretary of state. WE need Hawkish people to deal with demons in the world.
If Obama talks to the regime of Iran, I will start the next American revolution!
I got 99 Problems but Ned Flanders/Sarah Palin ain't one
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Nov 23, 2008 06:50 AM PSTI don't like her ONE bit. But I like her working for Hopey Obama. Safer that way. Also, if she can bring those wacky israelis and palestinians to make (out) peace, then she's better than anyone before her, especially CONDI RICE.
Bush administration has said "we give up" on that issue. If she helps Obama do this, again, more power to her!
P.S. NED: Todd Palin looks like a cheap Ned Flanders, even in those expensive designer clothes! I don't think that even Ned Flanders would have voted for McCain/Palin after they broke the golden rule 900 times during the campaign. "Aaaaayers. Terrorists are not our friends"
When Barry met Hilly :)
by Palin for President on Sun Nov 23, 2008 04:36 AM PST... then something erupted but it was no peace dearie LOL!! Margie, your problems are much more than typing sweetie - why don't you pop in to see your good old neighbor Ned and I tell you what they erupted in !!!

CNN shows Pakis when talking about iran! Why? To elevate us?
by gol-dust on Sat Nov 22, 2008 06:47 PM PSTAre we that BADBAKHT now? It took France and US/Israel so many years of destruction, loss of lives, collapsing the US economy and power just to realize that now? Most of the Iranians knew this, but these so called experts didn't! No wonder they are in trouble!
We dont like the iranian government but we know iran was the world's first super power and still carries weight with her neighbors! Reality check!
NO respect for anything coming from AMANPOUR
by Anonymous77 (not verified) on Sat Nov 22, 2008 04:31 PM PSTThe freak who went all over the place calling the first bombings of Baghadad "It;s like the 4th of July".
By the way, the issue is very clear with Obama on Iran. Against nuclear weapons but not necessarily against uraniam enrichment.21
I don't think HIllary was brought in for Iran's sake
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sat Nov 22, 2008 02:20 PM PSTThey keep repeating this Arab Israeli peace deal that she can deliver. The world will erupt in peace if she and obama can accomplish this! Iran will get nothing, as usual. America can't afford another war - we think?
I don't think Obama will do anything, for fear of not getting re-elected.
Sorry Anonymous Translator
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sat Nov 22, 2008 02:18 PM PSTI have typing problems. Thanks for the correction. It looked dumb considering my comment.
Marge,
by Anonymous Translator (not verified) on Sat Nov 22, 2008 01:56 PM PSTThank you for correcting your comment regarding Iran’s president’s name. It makes more sense now.
Hillary Clinton will be sec. of state and she is very hawkish
by asefati on Sat Nov 22, 2008 01:33 PM PSTI doubt there will be any change in US policy toward Iran if Obama picks Hillary for the sec. of state position. She is very hawkish. She voted for the war against Iraq and she also voted for the prop. that could allow war with Iran.
Hillary is very pro Israel anti Muslim and Anti Iranian and one would be very naive to think that Hillary would do it Obama's way. She is there to do it her way!
"Akhmadinejad" is an Israeli way of pronouncing his name.
by Shadooneh (not verified) on Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:05 AM PSTThose like Bush/McCain who say "Akhmadinejad" instead of Ahmadinejad when they refer to him usually have chosen to get their info about the ME from Israeli "advisers" and handlers. That's why they are so utterly DIS-informed.

BTW, I'M ALL FOR DIALOGUE AND TALKS! LET'S DO IT, LET’S BRING IT ON!!! REMEMBER WHAT HAPPEND WITH CHINA 35 YEARS AGO!
Marge, what's in the name?
by Anonymous Translator (not verified) on Sat Nov 22, 2008 08:12 AM PSTI don't know what you're saying about Iran's President's name, but here is a clarification:
His first name is MaHmouD, not Mahmou or MaKHmoud or Mamoud.
His last name is Ahmadinejad, not AKHmadinejad.
Both OB1 and Amanpour pronounced his name correctly, although with a slight accent.
Step 1: Obama can pronounce Mahmoud's last name!
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sat Nov 22, 2008 01:19 PM PSTThere is no K in Mahmoud's name. This was annoying the entire election. I don't really care what happens. I just want sanctions to go away. People in iran should be allowed to get rich and have businesses galore and trade and hopefully have the means to get rid of mullahs.
Business is different than Bazaar/Bazaari. I think that breed has more potential in helping Iran reform its government. Plus, business can't really discriminate. Money is money.
my 2.5 cents.
