Park Mellat

Two American tourists take an evening walk into Tehran's biggest park

Beautiful and so, so real. BriAnna Olson and Michael Pope take a stroll through the park and take us with them. I miss Tehran.

So inspiring...

Dear PG,

I loved this video...This image of Tehran I've never seen before. Honestly it made me feel a total foreigner in my allegedly hometown...

As I watched each frame, looking at these strangers, I imagined their life stories. The little girl running, cutting the crowd, her hair moving in air. The newly wed couple; the arrogant husband and the obedient wife in pink headscarf. The little boy who was never going to learn to skate. The mother protecting her child, and the child escaping the mother. The boy who was too old to play with a ball, and too young to play with girls. ...

Oh my! I can go on forever my dear!

Thanks for posting it! Azarin

I am baffled by mn's

I am baffled by mn's comment. What do you mean by that? The poor woman simply says she misses Tehran; I miss Tehran too and I want to thank her for this lovely video. Your comment reminds me “love it or leave it” kinda thing. Maybe she can’t go back or maybe she goes back for a visit, but when she is here her thoughts and her heart is over there.

Missing

by Arash Zarei (not verified) on

Missing something does not translate to hating something else!

Have you ever missed your mom or sister? Does that mean you hate your wife or your girl friend.

Why are you such a simple minded, one sided and presumptuous person?

Looks like park Koorosh, where us kids from Se-Raah Zarrabkhooneh used to hang out in the 70's. What a beautiful place!
