I partly agree with you. Iran is not anything close to Nazi Germany, if by saying that "Iran is not a racist country", you mean racism is not institutionalised to the same degree in Iran.

However, if you mean Iranians are not racists, then I have to say, as much as I wish that was the case, that statement could not be farther than the truth. I don't know about you, but I have come across so many Iranians both in Iran and abroad who are extremely and shamelssly racist. For the longest time, I was puzzeld as to why, until I realised how engrained racism is in our culture when I read Fredowsi refer to Arabs as "locust eaters". I have always thought that racism comes from ignorance, so you can imagine the shock when I heard it coming from our "great" Ferdowsi. 

Like anywhere else, I am sure there are some wise people and many ignorant people in Iran. I was just surprised to see that, figuratively speaking, the wise few got the "microphone" for a few minutes an were allowed to produce this TV series. 

Good idea about Ayatollahs

Anonym7, but unfortunately we all know it won't happen under this regime. An Ayatollah who says this will be pressured by the regime as part of a Zionist plot. I hear few such Ayatollahs that might exist are already in jail anyway.
Just a correction: I'm pretty sure there is no concept of Jews being 'najes' in Sunni Islam. As far as I know, it is a shiite thing from top to bottom.

You are so right. If this is supposed to mean that IRI has nothing against Jews and will treat them in all respects the same as other citizens in Iran, why don't they come out and declare Jews are not Najes and any harrassment or bullying against Jews will be treated by the rule of law for any other citizen.

You know, and I know that the truth is different from what the propagnda says. There will never be a peace between Judaism and IRI. No matter how you slice it, the IRI is anti-semitic. When you think about, in recent history there will be no distinction between Judaism and zionism. If anyone denies the right of a jew to his ansestoral land is against judaism. They have as much right to live there as those who came after them.

This kind of movies may help. However it is much more cheaper and effective if Shiite clergies in Iran come out and explicitly say they don't believe Jews are Najes ....
Sunni dogmatic version of Islam may not allow that, but Shiite version is flexible enough to accommodate this correction. Only if one courageous Ayatollah comes out and gets rid of this fascistic concept the rest will follow.

In contrary to the coment in News Film Iranians claim the jews who were forced to leave their Homeland should be alloud to return to their countries such as West germany and austri. Almost every day I see a new something about Jews and Israel related to Iran on iranian.com. Aren't you guys tired of this? How many Jews do we have in Iran? Not that many. And I assume they are happy there, otherwise they would be in Israel by now. I don't know about you guys, but from now on I am not going to read anything on this subject on iranian.com.

This proves that it is very much possible to bring about an improved condition in Iran today without resorting to violence. It's too bad that such news are not likely to make it to worldwide media which is controlled very tightly by arms dealers and other such criminals. But people can easily override the mass media by simply spreading the news and talking about such issues. Nothing has more power than word of mouth.

It is based on works of Abdollah Shahbazi, an information ministry official and a rabid anti-semite, anti-Bahai and holocaust revisionist who has published books on Jewish conspiracy in history, and has been a major influence in the ideological indoctrination of iranian hard-liners.

Iran is not a racist country, why are you surprised. The establishment in Iran is not against the Jews or Christians, when they oppose Israel is based on Zionist ideology and not Jewish. Have you forgotten Iran?
