Iranian vs Brazilliam
by my2c (not verified) on Thu May 22, 2008 06:16 PM PDTThe Iranian woman seemed a little on the snobbish side, as are many Iranians--sometimes they think they are the best. I could be wrong though, maybe she felt intimidated or maybe she is just not feeling good for health reasons.
The Brazilian lady just seemed more open minded and kind.
Thanks

Strangely touching
by Kouros (not verified) on Wed May 21, 2008 08:01 PM PDTThis was such a simple and touching film. That woman represented a whole generation of wonderful Persian women. Kind. Strong. Hospitable. Dignified. Resourceful and Misunderstood by society and victims of the sad bite of recent history.
???
by Anonymouth (not verified) on Wed May 21, 2008 07:17 PM PDTWas this supposed to have no translators to help them understand each other?
Was it part of the theme?
Otherwise I am sure there were people around who could facilitate the language problem.
???
