by John Carpenter III (not verified) on Thu Aug 28, 2008 01:40 PM PDTZahra Karimi, by far and away, is the new face of the I.R.I. Her gold medal victory puts the Islamic Republic in the news in favorable light. Both Ayat'Allah Syed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the leaders of Iranian must be proud at this moment.

by Anonymous Observer (not verified) on Sun Aug 24, 2008 04:06 PM PDTI don't know....that protective vest is a little too body conforming...it shows the outline of her breasts...and you know what happens to us of we see that as a society......we will all collectively go to hell...I think that we need one of our resident Islamists to pray for our salvation now...

Where is Farhad Kashani ?
by Shining Head on Sun Aug 24, 2008 02:59 PM PDTHe was complaining that Iran is a backward place (typical Zio-Nazi view) BECAUSE its olympic team did not win ANY medals. Where is he now? May be he is in Tel Aviv busy stealing palestinian children's medicine brought by the boats to Gaza!!!
For Ebi: "a real man"?????
by A.nonymous (not verified) on Sun Aug 24, 2008 02:53 PM PDTEbi, don't you think you insult a woman when you call her a "man"? ShirZan is a brave and strong woman, not a woman who is really a man! ShirFahm shodi??? :-)

Wushu is not an olympic sport
by Foaad Khosmood on Sun Aug 24, 2008 01:11 PM PDTusually a number of non-olympic sports are also held at the same time. Some of these sports later become Olymplic sports. This one hasn't yet become one. although it seems real close.
