To Mehdi...
by Shabnam12 (not verified) on Wed Jun 24, 2009 01:47 PM PDTWith the videos that we have all seen, with the reports of our families and friends from Iran, only someone with no sense of humanity can see what is happening as AMUSING! You think killing people and beating them is AMUSING? What kind of a human being are you? These are our brothers and sisters, our family and friends, our countrymen, who are being beaten and martyred! Even if as you said it was "who knows who" who shot this young woman and the rest of the martyrs, it is completely out of line, insulting, and degrading to being called an Iranian or a human being for that matter to call it "AMUSING!"
Here is what IRNA says about
by azadi55 (not verified) on Wed Jun 24, 2009 01:14 PM PDTHere is what IRNA says about Neda's murder "according to the evidence so far, it could be said that she was killed by mistake. The marksmen had mistaken her for the sister of one of the Monafeghin who had been executed in the province of Mazandaran some time ago."
So, just analyzing this BS statement;
1- who are these "marksmen"? to me that sounds like snipers hired by the government to kill certain people, or maybe at random in these protests. That's an admission of hiring people for murder during these protests.
2- read this again "sister of one of the Monafeghin who had been executed in the province of Mazandaran some time ago". so they are saying that for them it is OK to kill the siblings of other people that they have killed already regardless.
3- It was a "mistake"!! oh, just like that, it was a mistake. Is it also a mistake that they have killed numerous other people during these protests?
they can't even come up with a good story to cover up their obvious crimes.
Benyamin: when you are done insulting and name calling
by Mehdi on Wed Jun 24, 2009 12:38 PM PDTtry to come up with something vaguely rational to say.
Hello little mehdi
by Benyamin on Wed Jun 24, 2009 12:25 PM PDTyou never answer any questions and you always dodge them by calling everone protesting "mob" guess what? you are a minority here and in Iran in Europe and any where you go, you and your Hezbollahi friends are in power by force and backing of weapons and some sections of the army. No one has yet agreed with Khameneie not even the most important shiiates cleriks.
You and Khameneie are alone in this but I think you have a crush on Khameneie since you are protecting this murdareous regime....lol
Ciao
Strange times
by Mehdi on Wed Jun 24, 2009 11:30 AM PDTYou get out of the car to watch the mob, and you get shot by who knows who, and all of a sudden you are THE symbol of a nation. Hmmmm, very amusing.
innocense lost in the streets
by call me bob (not verified) on Wed Jun 24, 2009 10:04 AM PDTI have watched and lived the metamorphis of this country I live in - the violence - the riots - the healing... the streets are always taken in the name of inequality - the lack of balance, disenfranchisment of a group of people.
In Iran - the nation has lost its identity as a people. Its vast majority carrying the countries ecomony and future on their backs was swept aside with Medeival mentality and ignorance. Ignorace that the youth, the vitality, the strength of this nation lays in wait. The "30 something", educated, open thinking society believes in their personal freedom - take to the street with the support and presence of members across all age, sex, and socio-economic sectors - "where IS my vote?" You have a nation of people standing up and taking notice - our way of life and government is NOT as advertised.
You can lie to your children, but when they become adults and ask for their personal freedom - denie them - and when it is their turn for power - they will TAKE IT.
I mourn the loss of life in the streets.
May God bless all those who seek freedom.
God bless those who live compassionately.
We are all brothers at the end of the day.

Gold
by Abol Danesh (not verified) on Wed Jun 24, 2009 07:49 AM PDT...I suggest to wrap her resting place in glittering gold to raise a sublime awe when the visitors come to meditate on her and around her in silence when they have to get out of their immediate slef for greater ideals--
Deal or no deal?
Compensation
by Piruz (not verified) on Wed Jun 24, 2009 05:23 AM PDTI am so sorry for all these young people who are getting killed or imprisoned bei this fashist goverment.
I have a suggestion.
I heard that the financial assets of the son of Khamenei in Britain of about 1.6 billion $
are frosen.
I think we should push the government of britain or the international court to compensate all the victims of the violence agains iranian people with this money. The cases are good documented and I think there is a good chance of winning this.
I am asking all iranian who are lawyer or working in legal system in the name of Neda to please consider this suggestion.
It does not bring our beloved friends back but we can compensate their families for the loses.
