by Majid on Mon May 04, 2009 01:13 AM PDTI do, I hear some "gharib e Ashena" in this song, and maybe some "To oon kooh e bolandi, ke sar ta paa ghorooreh"......

by Parham on Sun May 03, 2009 11:24 AM PDTA song by Laleh with eastern flavor! Actually sounds like a 6&8. How strange, actually. :-)
inspired by Googoosh's song?
by Anonymous001 (not verified) on Sun May 03, 2009 10:16 AM PDTI like Laleh's work very much. I've been listening to her music for quite a while now, but this song is a bit different from other works of hers. I think "Big City Love" stands out to an Iranian ear because the melody of it is very similar to one of Googoosh's song (perhaps inspired by it). This song reminds me of Iranian pop music in particular "Gharib-e Ashena" by Googoosh. Does anybody else hear the similarity?
