Immortal Unique Beauty, thanks Mona Jan!
by Jaleho on Tue Mar 02, 2010 05:30 AM PSTI loved your link, in addition to azan itself which he has it in few other links, the visual presentation in your link was beautiful and fresh. It evokes a unique tender nostalgia.
And thank you GS for the reminder which brought back the real link. We all love it, but rarely we play it without a reminder!
This guy in our school used to read Koran and I found it sexy!
by mitra northcal on Tue Mar 02, 2010 01:24 AM PSTThis reminds me of my first couple years in high school. Our high school was coed and they used to line us up in the morning and this guy (HK) would read Koran for us. Our school officials probably thought that reading koran was good for us but I found his reading sexy and I developed a crush on him originating from his koran reading. It did not hurt that HK was also a great table tennis player.
Beautiful
by Ahmed from Bahrain on Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:35 PM PSTvisually and audio. The drumming is magical. It creates the drama. At 03.49 the move quarter note up just does it for me.

Try mix it with Tiesto's Platoon!
by Arthimis on Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:20 PM PSTTry mixing this beautiful Azaan with this Trance music by DJ Tiesto (starting 0:26) Don't look at the video clips just listen please!
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3U7QJ6pN1I
Let me know what you think!
Note: Of course, to make it sound great, it needs to be edited in pieces professionally and not continuesly ...! As a DJ, I experimented with such tunes back in the 90s.
Love and Peace

by obama on Mon Mar 01, 2010 08:51 PM PSTMerci Peter 4 the photo! Never thought he would look like that! Amazingly for a Ardebili, he has no accent! You just forget about what eslam is. even though it is in arabic, you don't care!

Brings back childhood memories...
by Khar on Mon Mar 01, 2010 04:45 PM PSTMaah Ramazaan, Ashoura..... Life is collection of memories!
Rahim Moazenzadeh Ardabili made this Azan in 1955 at the age of 30 while he was fasting. His family has been giving the Azan for the past 150 years. He passed away in 2005.

by Peter Pan on Mon Mar 01, 2010 03:02 PM PSTHe didn't die before IRI. He passed away four years ago.
Listen to Haideh here.
Moazenzadeh was lucky
by statira on Mon Mar 01, 2010 02:16 PM PSTHe was lucky that died before the brutal serial killer,Khomeini took the power in Iran, otherwise, he would have been executed by those phony islamic jalads, the same way they killed Zabihi.
At time of Shah no one shoved religion down your throat
by Hovakhshatare on Mon Mar 01, 2010 05:26 PM PSTSo the memories despite these satanic & exclusionary verses, and its shi't bastardized content, the sounds were part of private religion and milieu of life. hence pleasant because we associated them with our elders and spirituality; before IRR made it repulsive and despicable.
One of the best ...
by Mona 19 on Mon Mar 01, 2010 09:11 AM PSTIn my opinion, one of the best and well known Shiah Azan was performed by Rahim Moazenzadeh, Ruheshan shad...
