Ey Iran

Performed at Tehran's "Talar Roudaki", music by Ruhollah Khaleghi, arranged for me for piano by my longtime friend Clinton Adams of the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. The woman who greets me onstage is, of course, my grandmother.

Soheil in Iran

by Azarin Sadegh on

I have to say that the ending of this video made me cry, knowing how hard it was for Soheil's grandma to travel to the US. Plus, he mostly lives in Germany now and so grandma couldn't see him.

Besides having 3 successful concerts, Soheil had an amazing experience in Iran; he learned Persian, and met the family he had never met before. He was very surprised by the Iranian youth's interest in the classical music...and this is something he has been working on - and longed for - among the American Youth.
