Aminollah Hossein: Notes from Persia
On Friday, March 14, 2008, pianist Tara Kamangar was the featured soloist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony at the Paramount Theatre. The concert, "Notes from Persia," coincided with the Persian New Year and celebrated the music of this region with rarely performed works by Persian composers.
