Going to an enemy country a couple of times (Israel), having a classified document in her possession, being a person likely to be unhappy with the government (a woman) and being from an unfriendly country (the United States) would have been more than enough to have qualified her for a one-way ticket to Guantanamo and torture interrogation at the hands of the CIA or the military.
