Life’s Mangled Knots
Everything’s mangled up with knots
houses with walls,
roads with lost trails,
streams with rivers,
and the sea with its waves
Oh Man!
People with their shams, with old strings,
loosely tied
Days mangled with nights,
and time, with clock’s hands,
roots knotted with each other in lands,
and hearts, bonded with dismal love
On my mind, bygones have riddles and untieable knots,
and the frame on the wall,
your desolate and teary eyes, for years,
magically mangled with mine
