| June 6, 2002 Simple question The United Nations recently sent a survey to all the Member States with 1 simple question: "In your opinion, how has the lack of food affected the rest of the world?" The survey unfortunately was returned uncompleted because none of the Member States could fully understand the question. The former Eastern Communist countries could not understand what "In your opinion" means. The Western European countries could not understand what "lack" means. The African countries could not understand what "food" means. And the U.S.A. could not understand what "rest of the world" means.
