The poster put out by the United Islamic Association of the Torkman-Sahra region connects the June 5 1963 uprising with the irrevocable destruction of the monarchic regime by showing the crowned head of the Shah pounded by a clenched fist; the veins visible in its arm read, "There is no god but God". On the Shah's prominent nose sits a pair of glasses with a heart in one lens and a dollar sign in the other, signifying here lust, greed, and corruption.
