The Iranian

I see a man with a silent, angry wife.
I see a man who doesn't speak to his wife.
I see a man who came to omreekah with hopes of studying engineering or
computer science and then going back to the motherland to find a mother
(wife) for himself.
I see a man who chose a pretty, well-off woman, much younger than he.
I see a man who entered a business transaction:
Green Card
And life in omreekah for this woman.
Mother for this man.

I see a woman with a mediocre man.
I see a woman who doesn't speak to her husband.
I see a woman who came to omreekah with hopes of gaining access to
luxuries and certain freedoms unrealized in Iran and then going back to the
motherland
To notice how much she misses her mother.

I see a woman who chose an unappealing, recently-obtained-a-green card man,
much older than she.
I see a woman who entered a business transaction:
mother for this man,
Green Card and life in omreekah for this woman.
