Hand in hand
Photo essay: Kurdistan

The Iranian

I always see Kurds in the streets of Tehran with their traditional clothes. And I ask myself, why they don't dress like others?

I traveled to Kurdistan province in May and I found that they have a rich culture. You can see red colors that move within green fields. And when you get closer, you see women and their husbands dancing hand in hand.

Life goes on in the simplest way.
