The Iranian

Words that cage themselves in the belly of the beast
Sunken beneath the foggy blue seas
Seep that last breath from my homeless love
And flee
But remember no matter how much you flee Love,
The road to my last breath, my life, will follow thee

My heart is sunken beneath the belly of the beast
And beneath the blue foggy seas
I find your glass face frozen and alone
And at this point, even your tears would free me
