Three Palestinian boys hurl stones at Israeli troops and tanks as they swept into
the Beit Lahiya village in the Gaza Strip July 8, 2002. At least 30 Israeli tanks
and troops entered Beit Lahiya for the second time in two days before dawn and imposed
a curfew. A 17-year-old Palestinian boy died in hospital after being shot while riding
his bicycle close to where Israeli troops fired to disperse stone-throwers confronting
tanks and bulldozers that entered the town, witnesses and hospital officials said.
