Oil firmer on stockpile slide, Mideast

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil prices rose on Wednesday after an unexpected fall inU.S. crude stockpiles deepened fears of possible supply shortages in the peakdemand winter season. Iran seeking eight billion dollars in construction tenders at fair

TEHRAN, Oct 17 (AFP) - Iran is offering some eight billion dollars in housing and infrastructure projects to foreign firms at a two-day construction fair beginning Tuesday, the state IRNA news agency said. Iran says no OPEC plans to cut oil exports over Mideast crisis

TEHRAN, Oct 17 (AFP) - OPEC has no plans to "punish" supporters of Israel by lowering exports to the West in reatliation for the latest Middle East violence, Iran's representative to the cartel said in Tuesday's press. Iran NIOC Seeks To Develop Second LNG Export Proj - MEES

October 16, 2000, SINGAPORE -(Dow Jones)- The National Iranian Oil Co. is in talks with international petroleum companies, with a view to building a second liquified natural gas export project in the country, the Middle East Economic Survey reported Monday. Cargo planes unsafe, banned from international flights: paper

TEHRAN, Oct 16 (AFP) - Iran's air cargo fleet has been banned from making international flights after being ruled unfit to fly, due mainly to a lack of spare parts, press reports said Monday.
