Khatami & Majles Elections

khat.jpg

Radio Zamaneh: Former Iranian president, Mohammad Khatami charted the conditions necessary for the participation of the reformists in the next parliamentary elections in the coming year. Parleman News, the website for the minority faction of the parliament reported that Mohammad Khatami met with reformists MPs Sunday night calling for “release of political prisoners, creating freedom for political parties, complete commitment to the constitution and holding free and healthy elections.” Khatami maintained: “If these conditions are met, we will see how to proceed; however, in view of the current predominant atmosphere, it seems that the situation will become even more difficult in the future and everything will become more closed and restrictions, more widespread.” >>>

But JJ we cant think like you

by statira on

Half of my family including my father was Revolutionary, but since the new stablished regime started to execute  generals and officials, it upest all of us in a way that we hated the Islamic regime brutality. But I dont think that's the case with mullahs and hezbollahees. :We all love to see all of them to be hanged up on the gollows.

Akhoond place is in Masjed and that's it.

But when they shove their useless agenda up my ass with Death Treat and they release  hot bullet to prove it, I do wish them dead. I only released some hot air now (or my key board)

I don’t believe to kill somebody because I disagree with him or her, but they do. That’s’ why I left and they are still keep killing.

Khatami could have say something when exactions started on roof top of Alavi high school 1979 to stop this  but he didn't he shut his mouth. too late now he is one of them.

Reason

by Ferfereh on

JJ jan, I think you know that is a metaphor and doesn't mean that I wish somethings or someones death, ok let me put it this way: never ever trust an Akhond , ever ever ever....... But all you said, is what I wish for, we are not with them because we couldn't do what they do, we couldn't think like they do, we couldn't .... And for your reason, I take my hat (is not Kola Shapko) off to you.

guilty by suspicion

by Jahanshah Javid on

Ferfereh, an akhoond who does not kill, steal or bother anyone in any way. They exist. Just like other clerics and religious men and women around the world. But when there's a clerical establishment responsible for every misery facing the nation, we choose to associate every cleric with atrocities. Just like anyone associated with the Shah got the stick after the revolution in acts of blind vengeance -- not out of a sense of true justice. Just like every revolution... the French Revolution when hundreds of thousands of clerics, royals, merchants... were executed just because mobs didn't like them. Not because they did anything wrong. The same with the Bolshevik Revolution and Mao's Revolution. Even the American Revolution when many Englishmen faced the wrath of angry people just before they were English -- not because they committed a crime.

If the Islamic Repblic falls today and you kill every akhood alive, you have achieved nothing to be proud of. You would be repeating the mistakes of previous mobs. For more than 30 years we have been complaining about injustices of the Islamic Republic. If we repeat them, are we any better?

Let's start judging people by what they do not what they look like. Don't be like me who in 1979 thought anyone with a suit and tie is either a Monarchist, capitalist or agent of imperialism. And every man with a mustache was a communist and every woman not wearing the hejab was immoral and... on and on.

At some point we have to grow up. Or maybe we don't! But let's not be proud of putting people in certain categories and sending them to the gallows just because they're guilty by suspicion.

THE ONLY GOOD INDIAN IS A DEAD INDIAN.

by ebi amirhosseini on

In January, 1869, General Sheridan held a conference with 50 Indian
chiefs at Fort Cobb in the so-called Indian Territory (later part of
Oklahoma). At that time, Sheridan, who had gained recognition as a Union
officer in the Civil War, was in charge of the Dept. of the Missouri.
One of his duties was to oversee the Indian Territory, making sure that
the Indians remained on their reservations and did not harass the white
settlers. When Comanche chief Toch-a-way was introduced to Sheridan at
the conference, the Indian said, "Me Toch-a-way, me good Indian."
Sheridan reportedly smirked and replied, "The only good Indians I ever
saw were dead." Later on, the remark became:

"The only good Indian is a
dead Indian."

Another says a good Shahi is a dead Shahi.
Another says a good Mojahed is a dead Mojahed.
Another says a good American is a dead American.
Another says a good Jew is a dead Jew.
Another says a good Bahai is a dead Bahai.

forget about it

by Jahanshah Javid on

To even imagine there's the slightest possibility of fair elections in current conditions is preposterous. There were none before the June 2009 fiasco of a presidential election. And now with open interference of Khamenei in all key affairs and decisions, with the arrest of hundreds of protesters, critics and activists, with the murder and torture and executions, closure of loyal opposition papers and parties...

Charlatan Khatami

by Fred on

Article 110 of the Islamist Rapist Republic gives unlimited power to the Head Rapist.

What charlatan Khatami is setting as a “condition” has been the fact of life for the past thirty two years including during his eight years of shameful “presidency.”
