The Iranian

I was born in Tehran in 1962 . High school years in Houston, Texas. I went back to Iran after the revolution. In 1984 made attempt to go back to the U.S. but fortunately ended up in Toronto and studied international trade in college, But I hated it.

I am a self-taught artist and musician who loves to discover and learn about world art & culture. My art work is mostly based on current events and my own feelings towards them -- floods, earthquakes, wars, famine and injustice.

I only use my fingers and a knife to start and finish a project. This allows me to interact more with the canvass and subsequently gives me more enjoyment.
