The Iranian
I am an Iranian designer living in New York City.
My label is called "Michael and Hushi". I work with Michael
Sears. We make everything ourselves and have shows in New York.
Our work is featured in W, Vogue, In Style, I.D.,
Tank, Face, Flaunt, Entertainment Weekly. And recently Madonna
has discovered my work. I gave her a sort of Googoosh as Kholaah
Makhmali feeling.
My work is always inspired from my culture: Googoosh,
Qajars, Kurds, Qashqais, as well as revolutionaries.
