              The Iranian
            In
helpless rage, a child is born,
              ....Violently
              thrust from warm embrace.
In
terror and pain, a child is born,
....Shocked
              by rough and cold displace.
But
mother’s touch is soft and warm,
              ....And
comfort is found within her arms,
But
it is here, the child will form
              ....The
foundation of every mental harm.
For
upon the innocent mind is pressed
              ....Primitive
              views that twist and lie,
Instilled
              beliefs that blunt and suppress;
              ....A
helpless mind to seize and deny.
For
into corruption we all are born,
              ....And
from its coils, but few escape,
For
we embrace it as our own,
              ....And
so maintain man’s key mistake. >>> Literature
