DEMOLITION
I was raped yesterday
Right before your eyes
And you did nothing
They killed my child
They took away my brother
Right before your eyes
And you did nothing
I lie shattered
In ruins
Rubbles and wreckage
And you did nothing

THE CIVILIANS
The newborns with their mothers
And the old and the weak
Could not flee
So they stayed behind
They had to endure hell
Bullets and bombs
Rockets and machine guns
Helicopter gun-ships and fighter jets
And worse of all
The house-to- house searches
Some died, others disappeared
But a few lived to tell their stories
Of horrors and terrible crimes
Oh, where is Justice?
Who is the freedom fighter?
Who is the terrorist?

THE DEAD SPEAK
There is no democracy for the dead
The dead don't vote
They have no time for politics
They are mostly silent
Except when they urge on the rebels
And fuel the resistance
