As a young kid I started styling people and photographing
them while still living in Tehran. I moved to New York during
the Iran-Iraq
war and studied fashion, art history, photography and ballet.
Meanwhile
I worked with the print media, including the New York Times,
Elle, Lumo Vogue, Tank, Details, Paper, Bazaar and others.
However my own art was the most
fulfilling. I had the freedom to use my inspiration rather than
follow the pulication's guide lines.
I now live in iran which
has become way more exciting to me than New York becasue of all
the
diverse art and the energy of its youth. I still travel to New
York for clients and the Fashion Week.
