THE EYE (1997-2000)
The eye is the gate to a great memory in which many extraordinary daily events are stored, though very often the mind does not perceive them, their traces remain for ever. It is an effort to remember and reconcile, like soothing an old wound. The eye is a cosmos in which planets circle around their orbits for the eternity. The eye is the lens of a videorecorder that captures and concentrates the entire history of mankind but it is also the lens of a projector that shows the story of a utopia. A paradise that was not meant to be. It is a sensor that absorbs the light, or a lighthouse illuminating the paths of ships, becoming the creator of legends and the source of all expressions, because, it is silence.
