Memorial assembled at the University of California, Berkeley, in remembrance of the children who have been killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Put together by Students for Justice in Palestine, the event was observed by hundreds of students, faculty, and passerbys. One flag was planted for each of the young victims this past year. Alongside these, posters listed their names and accounts. In all, between January and mid-October 2006, 124 children have needlessly been killed. 122 of them Palestinian, 2 of them Israeli.
