Tara Kamangar gave a magnificent performance at San Francisco Symphony's Davies Hall Sunday afternoon. She played a selection of works by Eastern and Western composers -- Aminollah Hossein, Sergei Prokofiev, Loris Tjeknavorian, Javad Maroofi, Feruccio Busoni and Franz Liszt -- with an elegant force and conviction. The Iranian and American mixed audience were enchanted. Sunday's event was presented by the Marin League of the San Francisco Symphony.
