Peyvand Khorsandi gave Sacramento Iranians quite a belly ache at the local state univesity in northern California last Sunday. His next stop is this weekend in Toronto and Montreal. Do not miss him, especially if you're a 2nd generation Iranian. He pokes fun at our cultural oddities and contradictions from the point of view of children of parents who left Iran soon after the 1979 revolution. As you can imagine, he has a mountain of material to work with, and if anyone can deliver an intelligent punch, it's Peyvand.
