* God's second letter

I normally despise and punish people who commit so many atrocities in my name, like using my name as a means of getting to their own selfish end and making themselves my spokesperson without my authorization ["Quit whining"].

However, In Siamack's case I have to make an exception since he does such an excellent job of speaking for me. I warn the rest of you once again that sticking your feet in my shoes is illegal and in violation of the codes of ethics I have given you.

Being God, I have resorted to subtle and strange ways in punishing you for violating my laws and choosing the wrong instead of the right. If you continue to get out of hand I may resort to bringing law suits against you. (I would have done that already if I had found more honest lawyers. )

By the way, I have instructed my HR division that if Siamack applies for being one of my spokesmen, he should be given preference.

For my sake, once again, I ask you to follow my commands and, above all, when your children ask you what is the difference between right and wrong, don't tell them. "It all depends on what the definition of is, is!"

* Koori?

You have had your eyes on Iranians for the last 3000 years and you have not seen people as lazy, cunning, lying, cheating, and ass kissing as us? Then your blind, God ["Quit whining"].

Go back to the time before the Arabs attacked our GREAT PERSIAN NATION. We were the best in the world in medical and engineering science. Then you had to send the Arabs with the most inhuman, fanatic and barbaric style, the Arabs who are still trying to destroy our true culture. We still don't know why you did it.

You say you are too busy. Maybe you haven't noticed that true Persians are still on top of the world in every corner of the world except our own homeland. That is because true Persians don't need oil to be great.

Do us a favor and take all the oil and other resources from Iran and see what happens. I tell you what will happen? The Arabs who have taken control of our destiny and land will be the first to leave. Then we can rebuild our empire one more time.

* God? What God?

God said he is too busy to hear Iranians whine? What is God? Is there such a thing as God? Some smart humans found out long ago that they need to create "God" to make others behave they they want. Now everything is happening in the name of God...

* Don't expect anything from Khatami

Some of us, especially those living out of Iran with their family, wish for a revolution or some sort, that would change everything for the better ["Don't run"].

But I think, and I may be wrong, there are a lot more of us, especially those living in Iran, who not just think, but "know", that your description of the political situation in Iran, just does not say it all.

To this much larger segment of the Iranian people, Mr. Khatami, is not just a political figure. He is not there to guarrantee anything. Mr. Khatami is just a good "human being". Not a good "Iranian" or "Rohani" or anything else.

They don't expect all that much to happen while he is in power. They just want him to be their president. Because he is the best darn president in the history of mankind.

* "American-wannabe" of the year

I read the letter by Nazanine Ghassemian about nommination of Deep Dish guys for "Iranian" of the year. I felt so sorry that one of them has such a big problem not being an American citizen (she mentions that he strives to be a U.S. citizen now).

I think being an Iranian is quite a mess to begin with. See what you get when you add the desire of being American! This guy is more qualified for "American-wannabe" of the year or "hate-to-be-Iranian" of the year.

* Iranians of the year?

Googoosh did nothing but a big comeback that only expatriates cared about ["Iranian of the year"].

And no one cares about Reza Pahlavi except some old people who do nothing but reminince about how rich they were back in the old days when they had a nanny for each child and a maid for every room of their house.

If Reza Pahlavi really cares about Iran he should renounce his illetigimate claim to the peacock throne which his grandfather took by force, be it for better or worse.

Bijan Ghaemmaghami

* Dead man & his harmless widow

Your article about Reza Pahlavi was ridiculous and offensive ["Not without my mom"]. I am not a monarchist. I don't have any illusions about a corrupt, backward country like Iran ever having anything like a well functioning democracy, with a monarchy or not.

It would be nice to think that Iranians against this regime could organize into an orderly opposition party, with funding from the tremendous wealth of Iranians in exile. Your stupid article makes light of that, makes fun of a dead man, and attacks a woman who has been harmless for 20 years; his widow.

* Go to hell

To the writer of "Not without my mom": I saw your mother's picture. Go to hell with your bastered leader.

Somebody who hates you,

* He doesn't have the guts

I don't know why some people are so naive to believe this boy has the courage and guts to go to Iran ["Not without my mom"]. Why do people forgot how his father and grandfather looted the country's wealth and ran out?

This boy's mission was accomplished in 1979. He is going to stay in hidding in Virginia with his billion dollars.

People in Iran deserve lots of credit for their struggle and certainly they will find their way to freedom. They don't need this boy and his relatives and those thieves.

* Trying to unite idiots like you

You are an idiot for sending this to everybody ["Not without my mom"]. If you love the Iranian government why don't you go and live there and if you see any freedom and happiness in those people then go ahead and make fun of a man who is trying to help you take back what you lost.

At least Reza Pahlavi is trying to unite idiots like you. I guess you deserve those stupid mollas. So please leave this free land and go live where you belong. Here is a man who is doing his best to restore the respect that Iranians deserver, and I guess people like you made Iran what it is today.

* Such noise for an insignificant joke

To be honest with all of you, I makes me so sad to read all these negative letters regarding "Not without my mom". It breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes to see how shallow and closed minded these pro-monarchic people are!

I am so glad that Iranian.com published such an insignificant joke so we could all see such negative and harsh reaction form the these pro-Pahlavi people. How can we ever trust them in terms of democracy if they cannot even handle a joke like that?

This only reminds me of the Shah's era when nobody could even dare to ridicule or criticize the regime. I am so glad that people of Iran said NO to them 22 years ago. And they may only DREAM to see that spoiled brat Reza Pahlavi in power... Yes only in a dream!
