Two pictures [(1)
(2)] from
the front line of war against Iraq (1980-88) while I was in military service. We
were on call 24 hours a day. If there was a chance to rest, drinking tea, reading
and listening to jokes or the shortwave radio was my only escape. There is an ashtray
made with a tuna can and bullet shells and I am reading a book about the "power
of the subconscious" (Paul Jago) and "anatomy of human self-destructiveness"
by the famous psychologist Erich Fromm. Even back then I was interested to know why
we humans kill each other at times like this?!
