which is controlled by Patriotic Union Kurdistan (PUK) on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003.
Northern Iraq is divided into two. One being Massoud Barsani's Kurdistan Democratic
Party, KDP, the friend of Israel and United States. This party controls Dohuk, Zakho
and Irbil. The other is the Patriotic Union Kurdistan, PUK, led by Jalal Talabani,
pro-Iran and Britain. They control the area around Sulaymanyah. The Kurds accupy
