Simin Behbahani was enthusiastically greeted by close to 400 fans
at UCLA's
Dodd Hall Sunday June 27th. UCLA Center for Middle Eastern Studies
and
others had invited Behbahani to talk for them before returning
to Iran at
the end of her 2004 U.S. universities lecture tour. She reviewed
the events
of the past 25 years in Iran that has lead to the detention, torture
and
death of tens of top writers and poets. She asked all to consider
traveling
to Iran and contributing to rebuilding Iran.
