The Iranian

Look,

They are alive!

In this liquid you call

-- the electronic ether

The swimming creatures

Make their instantaneous way

Through my spine

Onto the shores of clicking pebbles

Into the vastness

You insist on defying

They leap into the private pond

On top of your desk

Parading their undeniable presence

Before your denying eyes

Look

How much longer

Will you stare at these blinking stars

How many more flickering volcanoes

Until you realize that

This virtuality

is no less than reality

Come as they may

On the wings of watts, wires or waves

Their origin cannot be betrayed:

Of pure verve

.............
And human nerve.
