            Your art

            you burn on my soul
and my age of innocence is no more

              but i love
              i love

              as one's greatest love affair
              with a deep burn
and a taste nothing will compare to

as a lover whose soul is locked in a place
where the walls whisper your name

              crawling through each phrase
caressing the meaning of your thoughts

              i'm diluted in your story

              tangled among your words
my body looped through each letter

as your art becomes the temple i kneel and pray to
and your meaning becomes my love
