Russia, Iran discuss global security, arms control
MOSCOW, Dec 15 (AFP) - A group of Russian diplomats were returning to
Moscow from Tehran overnight after talks on global and regional security,

Iran's Cultural Architect Steps Down

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -Iran's hard-liners on Wednesday demanded the supreme
court take action against popular President Mohammad Khatami, saying he
violated the constitution by easing social restrictions and allowing the
economy to languish. The supreme court ``has the legal right to look into

Iran allows organ transplant from dead, brain dead
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's constitutional oversight body, the Guardian
Council, said it would allow organ transplants from dead and brain-dead
people under certain conditions, newspapers reported on Monday. The Council
