New cinemas will show foreign films "without restrictions"
Tehran, (Hamshahri) -- Modern cinemas planned for contruction in the
third economic plan will have permission to screen foreign films without
current restrictions and charge people as much as theu want, said Deputy

Iran aims to double its movie-going capacity
TEHRAN, June 24 (AFP) - Iran needs to double the capacity of its movie
theaters to keep up with current demand, a state cultural official said
Saturday. Iran now has 200,000 seats in movie theaters but needs to add
another 190,000 seats to satisfy the country's needs, Deputy Culture Minister
