FIFA: Persepolis must settle dispute
Tehran (Iran Varzeshi) -- Persepolis is not allowed to trade any player
until it settles with Qatar's al-Sad club, FIFA has ruled. Al-Sad claims

Basketball-American to coach Iran national squad
TEHRAN, June 27 (Reuters) - Iran has selected a U.S. citizen to coach
its basketball squad, 20 years after the two countries broke off relations
in the wake of the American embassy takeover. Gary Lemoine has been chosen
as national coach by Iran 's Olympic committee, Assadollah Kabir, secretary
of the basketball federation, said on Tuesday

New York, June 28, IRNA -- Iranian veteran striker Khodadad Azizi was
chosen by the West Americans to play in the United States 'All-Stars' games.
"I joined the (U.S. major league club) San Jose Earthquakes in west
America in early March and during these four months I have played seven
