Fellowship Research Fellowship in Iranian Studies The American Institute of Iranian Studies (AIIrS) offers a six-month fellowship tenable in Tehran. The recipient will also be the representative of AIIrs in Iran. The period of the fellowship will be January through June, 1999. The stipend, contingent on the receipt of funding, will be at the level of an assistant professor, plus transportation. Applicants must have their Ph.D. in hand, speak Persian well, and be U.S. citizens. Selection will begin in November and candidates may be interviewed in Chicago during the MESA meetings December 3-6.
