Kpars BLAH, BLAH, BLAH ...

by Darius Kadivar on

Kpars Go ask if the Nazi's were Illegal for declaring war in the first place ...

Do the Battles of Poland, Tchecoslovakia, Austria's Anschluss or France or the Battle of Britian ring a Bell in Your Historical Documentations ? ...

It was WWII may I remind you so do your homework before talking Crap.

The Occupation of Iran was as much Illegal by International Laws and Norms as WWII !

Who cares about International Laws when the Entire Planet is at War ? Your Naive but certainly Not knowledgable in History to draw so far fetched conclusions which are far from the reality of that Era ! ...

Iran was pretty well preserved compared to most nations of the time given that Iran's casualties in a war that cost 50 million lives is estimated to 200 ...

Even the Iraqis paid with more lives during this period: 1000

Watch List by country here:

I know our history too well sir!

It is unfortunate that you intend to play with words Mr. Darius Kadivar rather than substance.

History shows that the presence of US soldiers on Iranian soil during WWII was illegal and by International Laws and Norms considered as an act of war and aggression towards the nation of Iran. The point was not when they entered Iran by Force, It was the fact that they came to our land by force and illegally at all during WWII, as we were neutral. Their presence changed our history and not for better as evidenced clearly. The events( coup, revolution, war...) that happened to us are in one way or another result of their aggression and meddling in Iranian affairs.

Also The fact remains, they (Americans and British) were and to date are responsible for jailing and subsequent death of Reza Shah. They are responsible for prisoning many fine Army officers whose guilt was only to defend their country.

Also the fact that US and British competed with the Soviet Union in the world to create a larger Empire does not say anything good about them. We Iranians did not want any of those three invaders in our soil to begin with. Also the historical fact that they made a coup to bring down an elected official later clearly shows their intent was not to help the Iranian Nation but only their own narrow interests and as such the control of oil at the time. Anyone who thinks Truman and Churchill kicked the Soviets out for our benefit must be deluded.

History is clear in documenting their clear intentions and their criminal actions which caused so much suffering in our people's lives. Who cares a few of our soldiers could parade with them on final V-day of a terrible war that the western world forced on the humanity?? I wish they would have left us alone then, now and in future.

Peace.

KPARS Learn Your History First ... LOL

Learn Your History First ...

Firstly : The US NEVER Attacked Iran in WWII ;0)

Firstly Because at the time of the invasion the Americans were not even at War with Germany ... The Americans entered the War AFTER Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran dubbed Operation Countenance, took place before on August 25, 1941 to September 17, 1941.

Secondly: US troops arrived in Iran essentially After the Tehran Conference of Dec 1943 in order to help the Russians get Oil through the Persian Corridor.

 //iranian.com/Pictory/2002/November/pres.html

It was a strategic operation to help the Soviets Beat the Nazis on the Eastern Front which they eventually did.

Thridly Iran unlike India WAS NEVER A COLONY. The Administration was Iranian and Run by Iranians not americans or British or any other country.

Fourthly: If it were Not for Truman and the Americans, The Shah could have not kicked out Pishevary and the Soviets out of Azerbaijan, since the American President told Stalin that if they did not leave America would use the Atom Bomb against the Russians as they did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Russia at the time did not have the Bomb. So the Bluff worked to the advantage of both Iran and the US. Otherwise we would have been probably a communist nation like all eastern European states for more than 70 years. And you probably would not even live in America today ...

Fifthly: Far from being treated in humiliation as a former Nazi ally, the British under the forceful command of the Americans was even forced to pay tribute to the Iranian Army for its efforts in beating Nazi Germany. thus even an Iranian regiment could parade with other Allied Troops for Victory Day:

Khamenei's speech in Mashhad

by Davood_Banayan on

Americans for a Democratic Republic in Iran.

There are a lot of people watching Ayat'Allah Khamenei in this speech.

Mashad must be some pro IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran) place.

Thank God I have no family from Mashad.

Mashad seriously looks like a village.

The only thing to visit there is Imam Reza's grave.

The burial place and shrine of the early 9th-century religious leader Imam Reza, regarded by Shia Muslims as one of Iran's holiest places, draws many tourists and pilgrims every year.

The 2nd largest city by population in Iran is Mashad.

Now I truly understand why and how Iran could possibly and probably indefinitely have an Islamic Republic.

The scenes from Mashad tell the whole story.

And let me tell you, the light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train, don't go towards it you shall get crushed.

You coudn't have said it any better.  It's very disappointing to see that Iranians in general (while maybe rightfully so) tend to demonize anything/everything that is said/done by the IRI.  I personally oppose the IRI because of their horrible treatment of Iranians for the past 30 years.  But maybe if we take a minute to think about the colonial policies of Western powers for the past 100 years towards Iran, we could understand why the ruling zealots in Iran behave the way they do (ultra defensive)! Western powers, specially the US and GB have looted Iran's vast riches while using their mass media to depict all things Iranian barbaric.

Granted, Khamenei is a dictator and he probably orders most public executions but his comments about the US Government are right on.  America doesn't want to see a powerful Iran that opposes the US (it doesn't matter if Iran is ruled by a monarchy, islamists or commies...); that goes against all US's foreign policy doctorines post WWII.  And as you mentioned that's why they removed Reza Shah and God bless his soul, Dr. Mossadegh.

I believe that the US has finally found a very tough opponent in the ME, one that's significantly mitigated its adventurism in that region.

No matter who is the president and how inviting he is, this doesn't mean that the US or the West have a chance to come and interfere in the Iranian internal affair.
That, the West must know, it's over.

Respect Iran or lose.
