by Kooshan on Mon Jul 12, 2010 01:54 PM PDTThe turkish guy peeking thru the gate was so funny :)
I have mixed feelings about the players gear. This is crazy! IRI can justify anything as long as it is their way!!!!
"funny but not sad"
by fooladi on Mon Jul 12, 2010 12:59 PM PDTThat self declared defenders of "anything and anybody rights", scorn and riducule two female teams declaring their support for women's rights, by playing soccer, under the noses of islamist fascist regime of Iran
German girls for sale in Tehran
by Amir Normandi on Mon Jul 12, 2010 12:56 PM PDTGerman girls for sale in Tehran
KHOMONISTA security sisters (Khaharane Herasati) are doing their job; the Iranian team has no choice, otherwise there will be no football, BUT what about the German girls, what’s up with them wearing the KHOMONISTA gender specific compulsory uniform? How much did they pay the German Team to hire these girls to sell their dignity in Tehran? Is this a German Corporate sponsored match or an IRI lobby campaign for establishing KHOMONISTA as a life style?

by Bavafa on Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:42 AM PDTI am so proud of Sheerzan Irani. With so much restrictions and limitations, they still play so great. And such despicable theatrical show that IRI has imposed on these sheerzanan.

Good sportsmanship
by Mehrban on Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:25 AM PDTAny team inside or outside of Iran that plays against Iranian women's teams must wear the Islamic Hijab. It is only good spotsmanship to share the imposed handicap of your opponent.
I am glad...
by ahvazi on Mon Jul 12, 2010 09:28 AM PDTthe iranian women are playing football. But the IRI system is stupid and retarded!!! Let them dress like other women football teams....
Basiji designer
by statira on Mon Jul 12, 2010 09:14 AM PDTI think no woman should dress like this even at home and if they did, they should not open the door on anybody not to mention wearing those rediculous customes for world competition events.
Perhaps the designer was a basiji sister. At least she could use some cool weather materials for their Jersy! They look so clumsy and like they just woke up.
Perfectly put by the brave Iranian woman

Very sad
by Abarmard on Mon Jul 12, 2010 08:22 AM PDTIt's not Iranian to be rude and unfriendly to guest in the name of Islam or else. In this case, culture should trump religion and stand proud and tall. If this doesn't make Iranians from any rank, position, or ideology embarrassed, then there is something wrong.

by benross on Mon Jul 12, 2010 07:03 AM PDTI don't know the context of this game and either of us can be right Raoul (or both). I suspect German women also have a strong submissive culture. This also may be a part of it. But I think that you see 'self respecting' in a male perspective.
INTERESTING GAME
by Benyamin on Mon Jul 12, 2010 06:58 AM PDTI think the biggest problem women face every where, is women themselves. They are disorganized and un-united. The IRI is in power because of disunity amongst women. It is women and their infamous "Hejab" that gives symbolism and identity to the IRI and nothing else. There is nothing else left of the IRI except "Hejab".
Having said that, I applaud all those brave Iranian women that fight for their own freedom(since they are not just fighting against IRI but also fighting true fanaticism in Iranian society.
I wish them the best and freedom at last.
Funny
by Raoul1955 on Mon Jul 12, 2010 06:53 AM PDTAnd sad that the German women have lowered themselves to the level of these people by wearing hijab.
No self-respecting woman SUBMITS to to such cultural ...
I think only a German woman
by benross on Mon Jul 12, 2010 06:33 AM PDTI think only a German woman could go that far to express friendship and solidarity. I know I couldn't do it.
