Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Aslan

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

What gets more more worked up is that he does not say he is Iranian. He says he is a Muslim. Aslan is an example of a true Muslim. Nationalism does not mean anything to him. He is a Muslim and that is all. To heck with Iran; Cyrus; Ferdowsi: they don't matter to people like him. Just Islam and all his energy goes to defend Islam.

There is no trace of Iranian in this man. Why does he serve on NIAC? He should be a part of some Islamic thing. Plus he is arrogant and thinks his Ph.D. makes him better than us peons.

It is Colbert's game to act

by Soosan Khanoom on

It is Colbert's game to act like an opponent no matter which side is his guest ..... it is a joke actually ......  it seems not every one gets him any way !

Bravo Aslan ..... Nice job .......... We need more brave Iranians like you in today's world ........ Those who have guts to say that they are muslims  and helping the cause against fundamentalism ......

 And thanks Colbert for the great show as always

is totally full of it. Colbert did catch him on some of the BS :-}

Aslan is saying that we should listen to "experts". We did in Iran once. We listened to Islamic experts to "an tellectuals" see where it got us. It just happens that most Islamic experts happen to be biased. Either towards or sometimes against it. So I say: No thanks; I will pass on him and his Ph.D.  No more ellitist self proclaied experts. Get some people who lived the horror.
