As I grew up in that area, your photos brought back a lot of memories. This time of year as well as the early part of autumn are truly the best times of year in the DC area.

Azarin, there's one other thing that you have to do as well with if you have allergies and live in the DC area: You have to wash your car almost daily because of pollen accumulating so fast. If you were to open your car window while driving it will blow in your face, and if you turned on the fan or a/c in your car, a lime-green colored dust cloud will consume you. It seemed to get worse with each passing year!

seeing these beautiful trees makes you realize how wonderful it is to have four distinct seasons to enjoy.... you can find beauty in all of them.... maryland is a wonderful state to live in.

I will always miss it

I lived and worked in Washington DC for 5 years, the thing about Cherry blossoms, was not just their beauty
it was also just after Norooz. It always made me home sick. I never found the same feeling, no place else. I always miss them.

Because of my severe allergy, I have to avoid nature in Spring...so going through these pictures was a real pleasure; catching the beauty of blooming trees, minus the itchy eyes and choking sensation! Priceless!

I could smell the sweet blossoms, the hyacinths and the daffodils...
