Open-Air

Photo essay: Ambert, Auvergne, France

by Azadeh Azad
30-Jul-2012

I spent part of July 2012 in Auvergne, a central region of France, where the "puys" (extinct volcanoes) and their natural surroundings present huge potentials for open-air enthusiasts. These are photos I took in the countryside of the town of Ambert (pronounced Umber).

Niiiice! Looks like our i.com taxes are going to waste!

I think photos like these should really be of high quality to enjoy.  The difference in #17 for example is too much.

JJJ should stay in a cheaper rooms so that our money can be spent for more memory and server space!

Everything is sacred

Thank you, everyone

Dear Esfand:

I took these photos with one of my excellent cameras. The lack.of precision comes from the fact that I had to reduce most photos to 20%,and.some photos to 30%, of their original size. This is a link to the photo # 17.before being reduced. Note how every details can be seen, which makes it much.more pleasant to watch. (the words on that website are not mine. They belong to their system.)

Magical

Magical wood shots - those were my favorites. We're reading a "Midsummer Night's Dream" in Washington, and it's full of fairies and fantasy / magical woods... that's what these shots reminded me of! Lovely.
