Darius Shahinfar is a Democrat running for New York's 21st Congressional District seat.

The 21st District includes all or parts of Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Schoharie counties. Darius Shahinfar has a good opportunity to get elected

but we could use all the help we can get.

NY-21 is an open seat.

Democrat Mike McNulty is retiring.

There are several candidates in the democratic primary but none has a real advantage on the others. It is possible for a Republican to win this seat but it is likely that whoever wins the Democratic Primary ends up as Congressman.

I've know Darius for several years now and think he's a great guy. We have a lot of support in the local community and a good chance to win but it is going to be a hard fought primary as there are a couple other good candidates and a self-financing millionaire in the race.

We're asking everyone to help out as much as they can.

I read some of his positions. They sounded good, Obama also was an under dog. I think the redneck will not let him become president, but he has already changed many things. Good luck to Darius at least the rednecks will learn to pronounce Darius. :-)
