Wanna bet, that Shirin can hear it, after she's been revived from fainting, with kilos of  smelling salts. 

P.S. MG khan, I have to say, that I suffered tremendously when I first heard the album stuck in a car for hours! But it's very clever.

And that noise is definitely not my idea of punk rock. Bando Bassotie has a very strong WORKING CLASS tilt, hence their Arbeitlose song. That is a very old Labor movement song.

 You keep reminding me of my childhood! I can hear a Klezmer piece, almost "rendition"/"arrangement" ? in my head that was my first that i remember. Kar dastam daadid, because I can't remember which one of the famous violinists it was.

Another thing that you touched on that is delightful is, when discovering something amazing, (only) to find out that it is repeated regulary. Made me smile. Thank you.

I hear similarities between this music and Kazachok dances, but Kazachok were faster music. When I was young, Kazachok dances were popular in Iran and I once performed one in school with three other kids, we did the dance in pairs of two. As you noted, Klezmer has many roots which you named Russian as one of them and kazachok were Russian folk dances, like this one:
