با نظرت موافقم ولی....

در اینکه مردم ایران فردپرست هستند و باید همیشه عکس یک فرد (اعلیحضرت یا حضرت والا یا آیت الله...) را روی دیوار دفاتر دولتی ببینند تا اموراتشان بگذردکه خوب شکی نیست. و موافقم که فرهنگ ما مردم از خانواده به بیرون مستبد پرور است! ولی این حکومت ها را تبریه نمیکند!  ( چه حکومت پهلوی سابق و چه ملاها و سرداران فعلی )  دیکتاتور محکوم است، صرفنظر از ظرفیت و شایستگی مردم!  ولی کلآ نظرت درسته و متاسفانه تا مردم ما درست نشوند، نوع حکومتی که بطور طبیعی در ایران بر سر کار خواهد آمد چیزی در همین حد جمهوری اسلامی است!

You are right, change is always possible, nomatter when and where, it just gets harder in some circumstances.

However reformation is required if you agree with the whole structure and just think small parts should be changed or the way the principals are put to practice must be reformed. But if you don't agree with the principals or main structure, you have to go after a revolution.

Thank you Jahan. Yes, we've got to work on it both in theory and practice; I think not just Iranians,but also Americans, Europeans and all around the world.

I expected more comments here on the theory, but it seems when you don't give it a practical relation to Iran, no body's interested! People like to more fight than talk ... this isn't good ...

Chicken Or Egg

Which came first? The old question. I think if we pay attention we can see that we are able to change the future despite what is going on today or what happened in the past. People are affected by their environment but that doesn't mean that it is impossible to change the trend. In general, when the environment is really bad, it is very hard to change it (for the individual) and when the environment is really good, it is again very hard for the individual to change it (to bad). But in either case change is possible. I think this also demostrates that despite what some say, peace tends to lead to improvement much better than war. In other words usually reform is a better approach than revolution, despit the temptation to change things with overwhelming force as opposed to a slow grudging progress. But slow grudging progress will pick up speed quickly if we persist long enough on that course and build steam.

Got to work for it

It all comes down to the individual. If we don't change, nothing will change. Excellent subject for discussion. Thanks!
