Thank you for the reminder of what this country looked like 50 years ago. It's also valuable to note that in the past 50 years this country has come very far.
Regarding the racial prejudice, although it's not completely wiped off, black men and women have come from not being able to share the same water-cooler to having high ranking positions in the government and leading the primary elections and having a real shot at becoming the president of the country.
Maybe that's what makes America so great: Positive social changes in a very short time...
Unfortunately in our country, we have experienced the opposite transformation in a much shorter time.
